Meet Hannah
Hi! I'm Hannah, founder of Hannah Hurst Helping Hooves and Pony Powered Phonics. I am a passionate practitioner in equine and animal-assisted learning, primary teaching, and a qualified emotional coach.
I specialise in working with primary-aged children, helping them build confidence, emotional awareness, and key life skills through meaningful connections with animals and a good bit of outdoor fun!
With a background in education and a heart full of love for animals, I’ve combined both worlds to create something truly special. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, relaxed, and connected to nature, and there’s no better classroom than the great outdoors, and no better teachers than animals. Whether it’s a quiet moment with a horse, or a muddy, giggly adventure with a ferret or a dog, every interaction is a chance for growth, healing, and discovery.
I work mainly with primary-aged children - probably because I’m a bit of a big kid myself! My sessions are all about laughter, trust, curiosity, and giving children the space to just be themselves.
My business is built on kindness, connection, and the magic that happens when animals help humans thrive.
