I had the absolute pleasure of working with Hannah for many years: she is an outstanding teacher whose enthusiasm and passion are evident in everything she does. Hannah brings relentless energy and humour, making learning an enjoyable and engaging experience for all her pupils. She consistently drives high standards across the curriculum, with a particular strength in phonics, where her effective teaching led to consistent, excellent outcomes year after year. Her dedication to her pupils’ progress and wellbeing was unwavering, and she has a natural ability to inspire those around her, both children and colleagues alike. Hannah was a much valued member of staff who left a lasting, positive impact.

Throughout her teaching career Hannah tutored many children with challenging behaviours and difficulties. This made her determined to succeed and provide an alternative education to those who struggled.
There is no other job that Hannah is better suited to. She has always been enthusiastic about animals, especially horses.
When working in a team with Hannah, she was incredibly supportive to other members of the team and would always make us laugh.
She is optimistic, passionate and committed to providing the best she can for those she works with.

Last Tuesday, (night before she started back at school) we had no tears, no asking to not go in, she went straight to sleep, didn’t get out of bed once and went straight into school with no issues the next day! I was honestly amazed, that’s never happened in the whole 6 years she’s been at school. We normally have full blown panic attacks the night before school starts. It looks like Harry has really worked his magic!

Hannah and Harry have genuinely changed my sons outlook on understanding that education IS in fact accessible to him. After years of feeling like “learning” wasn’t for him due to school trauma from his needs not being understood and met in mainstream, he built barriers that meant accessing it became impossible. Hannah and her animals have made Harry enjoy it again, this is due to her understanding of complex needs and how animals, along with the right teaching techniques can make it work. This has only happened because of her approach. She is a warm and welcoming lady who my son has quickly built a safe relationship.

This has also meant that she is supporting Harry to understand his feelings and which in turn, is supporting his mental health.

We will be forever grateful for the work she has done with our son so far because the change we have seen in him in such a short time has been incredible.

Hannah’s is the one place he consistently comes out happy, bright, proud and confident, even after racing challenges during the session.
